Fukuoka Prefecture is the home to over 7,000 creators, designers, and other talented individuals to step into the market every year. It is also the home of high-pace manufacturing industry, number of technology developers, and Ruby - a programming language suited for high-speed development.

To maximize these attributes, Fukuoka Prefecture set up "Fukuoka Ruby and Software Industry Promotion Committee in July 2012, in order to further advance its effort to expand the content industry by creating a centralized hub for its content businesses and software development businesses with Ruby program already installed.

We plan to continue growing and developing Ruby and Software Industry into the broader world market with the three pillars of our operation motto - "improvement of the entire development technology", "creation of new businesses", and "reaching into potential markets".
